Tips for a Smooth Mumbai Darshan Day
Start early
Leave by 8–9 am to reach South Mumbai before office traffic and finish at the beach by sunset.
Dress for temples
Covered shoulders and knees are expected at Siddhivinayak, Mahalaxmi and Haji Ali. Shoes are left outside.
Check the tide
Haji Ali Dargah is reached by a causeway that floods at high tide. We time your visit for low tide.
Travel light
Leave bags in the car. Carry water, sunscreen and an umbrella in the monsoon (June to September).

What is included in a Mumbai Darshan tour by car?
A private AC car with a driver for the duration of your tour, starting and ending at your hotel, home, station or the airport. You choose the tour type and the stops; the fare is confirmed before you book. Entry tickets, meals and any parking or tolls are separate and explained in your quote.
How many places can we cover in one day?
A full-day tour of 8–10 hours usually covers 15–20 stops across South Mumbai, the temples and the western suburbs. A half-day South Mumbai tour of 4–5 hours covers the heritage area around the Gateway of India, CSMT and Marine Drive.
What is the best time to start a full-day city tour?
Start between 8 and 9 am. You reach South Mumbai before the heaviest office traffic and can end the day at Juhu Beach or Bandstand around sunset.
Can we change the route or add stops?
Yes. Tell us the places you want to see when you enquire and we suggest the best order. On the day, you can skip or add stops within your tour hours.
Is Mumbai Darshan suitable for elders and children?
Yes. A private car lets you take breaks whenever you need, keep bags in the car and avoid crowded local trains. For families of six or seven, choose an Ertiga, Innova, Innova Crysta or Kia Carens.
